it has been a much enriching week for me as compared to the past 2 weeks.. been doing final testings as it’s GIC financial yr end.. 9 more days of attachment!

went hark cafe after work on wed to support foong in her singing competition semi-final.. everything ended at 11+, didnt miss the last train like we did the previous time, tat was my first time takin a cab alone, hehe, was rather fun..

had dinner and shopped at wisma with dd on thu.. realised im a mountain turtle cos i wasnt quite sure which exit to take after alighting at orchard.. hehe.. nice to see dd again, im very happy cos it seems like we always have so much to talk bout.. we also agreed on an overseas trip together after we work and save up in future.. im very much looking forward to it already =)

met up wif our LO at Lau Pa Sat today, didnt hav lunch together though.. crossed a special junction at Boon Tat Street on our way back.. pedestrians can cross diagonally as the green man of all the traffic lights wil flash at the same time! it’s special in my terms, hehe, cos it’s my first time crossin a road like tat =D

makan at a foodcourt along Mc Callum.. it sells jap food, quite nice and affordable, can bring ah wei and ah mei there to try nx time :)

anyway, am happy tat i finally managed to bring some muffins back for cousin ah bee today, got a banana walnut one specially for her.. went over her place aft work, it was funny cos she didnt realise it was me at the door so i kept ringing the door bell and even tried to break open the door myself, hahha.. grandpa bought roti prata for us, funny cos he said he predicted tat i wld b comin.. nice to c them again, pity tat auntie wasnt home yet..

went home shortly aft tat, wish i could stay longer :)

on mc yday.. was runnin a fever but went to work as usual aft i took some medication.. was at clementi when i decided to head back home.. the doc said it was gastric flu, guess i gt the bug frm daniel cos the doc said it is air-borne.. haii

im ok nw but i’ve missed gris’s belated bday celebration yday.. didnt get to c buds.. and mum kept me frm visitin grandpa cos i might spread it to him.. all my plans foiled :(

luckily i’ve two more things to look fwd to, to meet up wif dd, hopefully tml, and oso to support foong at her singing competition nx wed! wil drink lots of water for the nx few days!

daniel is on mc today.. it’s a lil strange without him here cos tis is the first time he’s absent.. i’ve been praying hard tat koh wont gif me any Bloomberg task today cos i didnt really pay attention when we watched the videos so i hav been dependin on daniel to recall the stuff..

agreed to hav lunch wif ah mei today, really sorry bout the change!

ate wif sandy at amoy.. my stomach kept growling before it was lunchtime, i hope it wld stop cos the office is v quiet!

been eyeing on the muffins at one of the stalls at level 2.. orange peel chocolate, double chocolate, blueberry, banana, cheese, walnut, and more! YUM YUM =D no wonder the queue is always so long (ah mei muz go try!)..

i wonder if it’s open til evening, i wan to bring some back for cousin ah bee to try.. i think she wil like it.. the double chocolate one seems to b the most popular cos it’s fast sold out.. hav tried both tis and the blueberry one, i like the latter more! i think buyers usually ignore the blueberry one cos it looks quite plain, like juz havin bits of blueberry here and there.. wat a big mistake! the generous amt of nt-too-sweet blueberry fillings inside!! plus the quite-crunchy top!! whoo hoo!! *thumbs up* nv judge a muffin by its crust! =D

anyway, enjoyed my lunch today, sandy is an easy-to-get-along person, someone nice to talk to.. i wil certainly miss her hearty laughter once attachment is over..

o ya, and the sound of the ships leavin the port (i think it’s the Tanjong Pagar Terminal).. although i dun like seas, i really like the view frm my office’s window.. the ships, cargo, containers, and cranes..

asked sis las nite and realised it’s thursday today.. tat means weekends wil soon b here, blink of an eye! and gris’s belated bday celebration tml! (happy bday!) haven seen gris and su (hope u r goin!) for ages already!

i oso wan tag along when mum goes dialysis centre to fetch grandpa tis sat.. and go his place aft tat.. haven seen him, auntie and cousin for a long time too! i miss them.. esp cousin.. i hope she’s havin off-day tis sat, hahha..

many things to look fwd to, am happy juz thinkin bout them :)

the S.LEAGUE match is on tonight! Gombak United vs Home United. right at the stadium downstairs!

dad enthusiastically dragged mum and me to watch it wif him, i was a lil reluctant initially cos i nv knew wat was goin on.. but im glad i went, my first time watchin the match frm the spectator stand!

at one pt of time, one of the players suddenly lied on the ground and those first aid pple quickly rushed over.. but i really saw him lie down himself leh.. play cheat.. hahha.. anyway, i finally understood how to tell it’s which side’s turn to start the ball, and tat the numbers on the board the referee occasionally holds up is to substitute one player wif another.. hehe.. great experience at juz $5! =D

the match was brilliant, Home United won: 4:0. it was my first time sittin thru the whole match and feelin so kan cheong whenever the players r bout to score.. nv felt like tis before.. thou i didnt boo or cheer like the others there, i stil enjoyed myself :)

weekends r here! somethin i’ve been lookin fwd to the whole week!

met up wif ql, ah mei, ah wei and foong aft work on thu to get a bday gift for gris.. ended up talkin thru dinner until it was almost 9, hahha, lots to share.. went back empty-handed in the end cos we havent found wat we were lookin for and the shops were closin.. hehe.. but im stil v happy to c buds :)

my 5th week of attachment has been an almost task-free one.. spent most of my time readin newspaper and surfin the net.. 4 more weeks to go, how time flies..

surfed MPH’s website on fri, came across a no. of interestin books.. oso hav a sudden interest in the Bermuda Triangle.. went library today, was nice cos i havent been there for yrs.. borrowed 2 books :)

juz finished 2 basic Bloomberg tests and we passed! whooray! 1 more basic test to go before we can proceed on to the 5 equity tests.. hope all wil b fine cos dt already knew bout us goin thru tis program..

anyway, saw in TODAY, the ferris wheel (called The Singapore Flyer) wld b open nx yr! yays! took cab wif sis past the area once, they r stil buildin and it’s v BIG! and u wld b able to enjoy beautiful view (esp at nite!) of the CBD up there!




im v excited bout it! hehe =D

im eatin snake nw, hehe, bloggin at work.. didnt do much today cos we r done wif our tasks and koh is busy so we had all the time to ourselves..

spent mine surfin the net and thinkin bout bringin dad and mum for a trip to australia nx time cos mum always wanted to c apple trees, koala bears and kangaroos.. and i think dad wil like the idea of a farmstay..

anyway, saw an article in TODAY titled “housewives are worth billions”, mentioned tat husbands can perform effectively at work when there is a stable home env, and tat housewives play an impt role in mouldin n sustainin s’pore’s future pool of manpower and leadership (i.e. the children).. i think housewives r great! mums r great!

and i aspire to become one in future, hahha =D

tis week of attachment has been ok, koh let us try new stuff aft findin out we hav already spent 4 weeks runnin setups, analysin commodities.. he asked us to work out some trade workflows and inputs.. gd to learn new stuff..

wonder wat r the tasks comin up.. koh asked us to go for early lunch nx few weeks so tat we can come back earlier to watch Bloomberg videos (mon, wed and fri) and try the Bloomberg syst (tue and thu) to prepare for our tests.. to get a cert which wld b helpful in our resume in future.. hope the tests wil b ok..

anyway, ql seems to b rather stress over work recently, hope she’ll b ok.. it’s ok to make mistakes mama, step by step k, cheers! :)

5 more weeks of attachment!

results r out today, GPA dropped quite alot but im so relieved i gt a ‘C’ for MA2.. imagine havin to go thru it again -_____-
oso happy wif CRAA.. remembered the paper had lots of outside-notes questions (or maybe to me only, hehe) and dt said i didnt do well.. B ok ma.. hahha.. scare me..

to buds: hope ur results r ok, let’s work even harder for our final yr! =D

had lunch wif daniel and sandy today.. as we were crossin the road, heard a guy (who was bout to cross the road) tell his frens to go first cos he left his hp in the office.. then his frens asked him to forget bout it but he said he needed it in case his wife is lookin for him.. so sweet :)

me and loon nt together le.. since 25 feb.. 3yrs, 9mths, 17days.

even though we had a proper goodbye, it stil hurts abit cos im v used to havin him ard.. im stil adaptin..

yupp.. juz thot i need to share tis wif u all.. im ok, dun worry :)

david tan (our LO) came over today.. had lunch together at maxwell.. he said i didnt do well for CRAA.. but i hav already forgotten wat was the paper bout.. hahha.. wil find out tis wed..

anyway, im v glad work has been goin on well so far.. busy but enrichin.. lucky :)
