to budds: some important dates to take note of!

Graduation Ceremony: 29 May (Thu), 2pm
- Register attendance (from 27 February onwards)
- Find out if you have won any award (from 10 April onwards)
- Rent and collect graduation attire (from 14 April onwards)
- Find out seat number (from 7 May onwards)

you can apply through SAS for a Certification Letter, this letter will state that you have successfully completed your course of study and that your diploma scroll and transcript will only be issued at the Graduation Ceremony in May 2008.. useful for jobs or further studies application :)

now is already the third week since exams are over, i think i have done at least one thing useful everyday.. just finished a 3-day work at Simei ITE where i helped out at the registration and certificate collection counters for their graduation ceremony at $6 an hour! work is really simple; for almost 5 hours there, we worked for only an hour or so and the rest of the time we were only waiting for students to come.. lunch is provided and even lunch break is paid! :p

tomorrow is cousin Oliver's 21st birthday party.. then i will need to find something meaningful to do on Sunday.. have sent out resumes for a couple of 1-month jobs, hopefully they will get back to me soon so i have something to do next month while waiting for Credit Suisse's reply and NTU and NUS application results in April.. but i'm prepared for the worst :X cant decide whether i should go for SMU..

will blog soon in a few days time before my dial-up connection gets cut off in March.. will sign up for broadband soon i guess, hopefully there is a good price plan then..

and hip hip hurray to Singapore for winning the bid to host Youth Olympics! :)

the bird is dead already, despite dad patiently looking after it.. it's gone just when im starting to get used to it and like it =( maybe it's already injured when dad brought it back cos its feathers didnt look quite right then..

anyway, exams and Credit Suisse interview are over! the papers were ok, but i don't think i did well for the interview as the two interviewers asked me a few questions i didn't expect at all.. oh well, it's over! will try for other jobs if i didn't get in this one =)

and hurray, chinese new year is TOMORROW!

went Chinatown with dad and mum last Friday, so happy to see streets after streets of new year goodies, and also a handful of traditional confectionaries known for their long history of yummy Chinese pastries! 菠萝包, 老婆饼，豆沙饼, 酥皮蛋挞 and more, yum yum! and i saw wei there too!

went to market early at 7am with mum yesterday, it was so crowded but the new year atmosphere was all that mattered!

除夕 and 初一 dinner will be at grandma's place as usual, and im eagerly looking forward to watching Jay Chou's 功夫灌篮 with cousin tomorrow morning and to go grandpa's place after that!

whoohoo~ life is great! now i can sleep and wake up anytime i want, and watch dvd non-stop.. just finished a korean drama 幻想情侣


it's really nice! romantic and funny at the same time, unlike typical korean drama where there will be someone who is sickly and dying..

and i can read a book whenever i want to.. have been waiting for Stephenie Meyer's New Moon for so long already but it's always On Loan.. so i borrowed this book by Anne Bishop yesterday, it's called Sebastian.. hope im able to finish it by the due date, haha..

dad bought a baby bird home today =/

it was sleeping in an opened box in a NTUC bag.. i had no idea at all, opened the bag to see what he bought home and got a really bad shock to see a breathing body in there.. was trying to figure out what is the black and feathery thing inside until i saw the object moving slowly then i suddenly realised it's a living thing.. and eeks, it's a bird somemore.. i've always been scared of chickens and birds, especially their neck =/

dad said he saw the bird at his factory trying to fly but fell from the roof, i feel sorry for it.. well, i dont blame dad for bringing it home actually, but do let me know in advance =/

sending math past year papers to qian ling now, so i can blog a little as well =P

ITFD is over!! whoo~ don't have to look at it again anymore!
time was quite tight today but on the whole paper was ok, hope i didnt do too badly..
and something happened after the paper that made me really happy the entire day :))

tomorrow is math and banking law on friday! three more papers to go! and Credit Suisse interview next monday!

am eagerly looking forward to chinese new year!

and i hope cousin gets well soon!

got my blogskin changed, this is blogger’s template so hopefully foong, mei and dd wont see blank screen again the next time they drop by =)

had Financial Planning test today, it was alright on the whole.. and exam starts next week! my worst fear is ITFD! the good thing is it’s the first paper, i can’t wait for it to be over!

mei, foong, su and me went for the Credit Suisse aptitude test last Friday, so glad that all of us got shortlisted for the next round of interview! su, qian and michelle weren’t very keen on the idea of going back to Credit Suisse after they had their attachment there, it seems like working there is rather stressful.. nonetheless, i still hope we can all get through the panel of interviewers! it would be great to work together..

chinese new year is round the corner! and class chalet in mid-February! just the thought of these makes me so happy =P can’t wait to shop for new year goodies and decorations!

study hard buddies! 加油, 加油, 加油!

yesterday was the last day of school, last day of our three years at SP.. and im lucky enough to get to see him so many times the past two days =P

although we will still be going back for our final exam and the graduation ceremony in May, it’s the very last time we will be having classes there.. am really sad because i actually feel quite attached to SP, especially to my class and most importantly my buddies..

i will definitely miss the freezing cold lecture halls, the crowded foodcourt 6, the classrooms, and our favourite corner in the business library.. and of course, the lecturers! especially John Foo, Patrick Phang, Anthony, Jacqueline, Janet Fok, Kenneth Tai, and Lu Sia who has already left the school.. and thanks to David Tan for the opportunity of an attachment in GIC..

last but not least, all the projects stress we went through together, and all the fun we had, the gossips and the silly jokes :)
