tis wk of attachment is more meaningful.. attended a bloomberg course on wed and wld b attendin another nx mon.. gd thing is tat lunch is provided so i can save $ w/o bein hungry =D the pantry there is v gd!! many diff kinds of drinks, snacks, sweets, and cup noodles.. only tat these cannot b taken outside office.. but oso gd la.. yum.. hahha
koh oso asked us to run some setups, quite fun.. gd experience too.. :)
but i stil miss sch, even the exams, cos actually it's quite fun to stress over exams wif buds and havin everyone look fwd to the end of each paper..
agree wif ah mei.. when we r studyin, we hope we can faster come out to work.. and when we r workin, we hope we r stil studyin.. hahha..
but i think attachment makes us treasure schooldays even more :)

went to the zoo wif auntie and cousin today.. hav been quite some time since we las went, v excited bout it =D
here r the pics (the clearer ones, cam nt workin well) we took there:
-- auntie and cousin yiting (i always call her ah bee)
they r my fav relatives (maternal), im closest to them :) as for my paternal relatives, im only close to grandma.. dunno y, nw my cousins and me older le, dunno wat to talk bout even thou we used to b great playmates.. haiii
-- my ticket, at $15 (auntie paid for it).. here we come!!
-- cute signboard.. also found one bout elephants spending three-quarters of their lifetime eating!! woahhh..
-- (in clockwise direction): pelican, pigs, more pigs, and baby goat.. luckily no chickens on the loose.. hahha..
there r 2 polar bears, sheba (mother) and inuka (child).. a signboard there says inuka (borne in Singapore in 1990) wld b transferred abroad when sheba (29 tis yr, passed the usual lifespan of 25) dies in future :(

some pics to share :)
juz nw we almost become roasted pigs.. the 5th or 6th floor of my block was on fire, mum quickly rushed me out of the house.. i went to inform my nx-door neighbour and we all hurriedly went downstairs.. the smoke went all the way up to my level (11) and it smelled v strong.. dunno y everyone else is fine but only my face is black wif ash.. mum kept laughin at me and even phoned auntie to tell her.. hahha
pity tat dad went m'sia wif fren to fish.. but anyway, enjoyed myself tis new yr, the gatherings and the fun, the goodies, and the red packets!! =D

did the same stuff at work today cos internet access hasnt been granted yet.. v sleepy to face the com in the mornin and esp aft lunch.. *yawns* im lookin fwd to the long weekend..
drafted tis blog entry (at 3.17pm) to kp myself awake.. i think tis helped cos im startin to absorb the stuff i read, finally aft 3 days at it.. hahha..

he gave me a pair of papillio sandals which he has read bout online tat they have moisturisin effect and wld b gd for my dry heels :)
i like the prints and the size is ok.. but juz felt tat it is too ex for my feet, wld b wasted cos i always sweat alot..

met up wif ah wei for lunch at tanjong pagar today.. enjoyed lunch under her company :)
ms. chee (our officer-in-charge) asked us to cont readin yday’s stuff.. then the IT person there helped us set up the syst for us to work on.. gave me quite some probs at first.. then mr. koh signed us up for a Bloomberg orientation course which is on nx wed.. he asked if we noe wat r futures and how they work, but we hav only learnt bout margin call all tis in FMKT, so he asked us to research on it and on dunno wat settlement and delivery day.. prob is our coms dun hav any internet access yet.. we thot we had to work OT cos mr. koh said he wld apply internet access for us when it was already 5+.. in the end he said no need when we went to ask him, dunno if he wld feel tat we r v slack and cant wait to go home anot.. gt to do some research later, muz hav some contribution.. hahha =D

first day of attachment today, workin hrs r 8.30am-6pm.. had been readin thru stuff bout the syst the whole day.. somethin like FMKT and Accpac..
total there r 3 pple attached to GIC – sandy, daniel, and me.. sandy is in equities dept while daniel and me r in investment data and valuation dept (pricing and valuation division), up on the 41st floor.. we only hav internet access to GIC sites so we 3 ended up email-ing each other to talk talk.. v ‘gt face’ to hav our own table, com and phone, and a shared pantry, hahha =D the pple there r ok, some of them asked us to join them for lunch, nice and friendly of them :)

exams OVER!!! yays =D
went chinatown wif mum today.. v excited cos it has been yrs since we las went and it was mum’s first ride on the north east line train.. there’s a big statue of fortune god at the entrance of people’s park complex, mum kept wantin to touch his hands for gd luck, and was v happy wif herself when she finally managed it, hahha.. then we saw long queue outside the famous Lim Chee Guan’s bah kwa shop, sis bought 1kg back las wk to try too.. overall nt much stuff there, but it was fun to join in the CNY crowd =D
met up wif dd at jp aft tat.. she gave me a treat at subway cos she gt her pay frm work.. there’s a Lao3 Fu1 Zi3 CNY performance so we get to watch it while eatin.. cute Da4 Fan1 Shu2.. =D accompany dd to buy shoes and hairband aft dinner, saw gris and liangyu too :)
