finished reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows last night..

some cried the day it was released as it marks the end of the ten years they had been closely following the story.. didnt realise it was that long, only started reading my first book when the fourth was already out.. but im so glad i got on Hogwarts Express! =P

anticipation, laughs, and tears accompanied me till the very last page.. it’s great.. i love it very much..

mum’s test result is out, everything is alright! :))

yesterday was qian’s 19th birthday! ricky, evelyn, liangyu, gris, zhi feng, wei, mei, susu, foong and me gave her a treat at Orchard’s Sakura.. it was really funny seeing ricky and the others trick her into eating the ‘green tea’ ice-cream (wasabi!!) =PP

we went to heeren after that to take neo-prints and here it is!




enjoyed myself to bits, hope qian did too!


anyway, work is piling up, projects and exams.. cant wait for everything to be over soon!


and in the meantime, the things to look forward to – dd’s birthday this Saturday! and the upcoming class chalet! whoohoo~

finally Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix is HERE!! dd and me were both so looking forward to the movie, whoo hoo! i felt like crying when at last the cinema lights dimmed then came the familiar Harry Potter tune.. i love Harry Potter!!

the thick storybook was squeezed into the 138 minutes, so everything was happening a little too fast, many parts were left out and the story had been changed here and there.. and Sirius is gone..

nonetheless, the ending was very touching - flashes of Harry’s past memories, friendship and love.. Grawp is so cute.. ring ring~.. and Luna Lovegood is actually very pretty..

in a nutshell, the movie is FANTASTIC! in fact, all the five movies are GREAT! though the stories are imaginary, they are just so well-written =D

cant help feeling rather sad what i've been looking forward to for months is now over..

i can hardly wait for the last book and the sixth movie to come! :)

had an enjoyable outing with dd today :)

finally bought a new school bag at $20! been wanting to get one for very long already, and it is within my budget so it's good.. bought a blouse from Fox too, really like it a lot..

next i’ll need a haircut, a belt, a bottom, and a new pair of shoes.. and one of my lenses looks like it's going to drop anytime, got to get it repaired.. money money..

anyway, mum got her mammogram results today.. she needs to go for further tests at NUH.. i kind of regret persuading her to go for the test.. now she’s so worried and pessimistic about it because only 1 in 10 women screened needs to go for further tests.. why her..

but then if there’s really anything that needs to be solved (choi choi), it better be quick..

please let mum be well..

it has been a fulfilling week so far, with after-school activities almost everyday =P

went Queensway and Haji Lane with mei, foong and susu on Monday..

i like the ambience at Haji Lane, it's like back to the 70s.. nice vintage stuff they have got there.. love the shophouses with those red post boxes at the bottom of the stairs.. nice if i could live there!

caught 'Transformers' with mei at Bugis on Wednesday.. we tried the new Pepper' O curry puff from Old Chang Kee, think there's potato and sliced button mushrooms inside, yum~
dd joined us after the movie, she and mei became friends! haha =P

then met up with cousin for dinner at IMM today :) tried Ajisen's Ramen for the first time, it was delicious!

going to Queensway with dd tomorrow =P

and i've booked the tickets for Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix!!!

dad took mum and me to Sintex’s Bedlinen Factory Sale along Pioneer Circus today, the ride on dad’s big lorry was fantastic! it has been ages since i last had a ride, dad is now driving a different type of lorry =D

rode on dad’s bicycle today! havent been cycling since gris taught me at East Coast that time.. Tuas is a good place to practice as the roads are long and broad but got to keep a lookout for heavy vehicles and dogs.. dad kept close to me in case i lost control, and told me not to brake too suddenly, and to look straight and not at the wheels :)

still got to work at keeping the bicycle straight and controlling my speed, haha, quite paiseh when im trying to cycle properly at the void deck and a kid zoomed past with her two-wheels bicycle.. she must be wondering what is this auntie trying to do, haha.. but im finally able to make turns! =D

and i tried Standing Broad Jump again today.. dad jumped past the ‘Gold’ mark i made on the floor! mum said dad didnt swing too long at the starting line and suggested that i follow.. really can leh! i tried many times with each time swinging only once or twice then all i made it to the ‘Pass’ mark.. maybe the longer you swing, the more you hesitate huh..
